Care of Copper

The shimmery patina on your artwork is fragile. Please handle it with clean cotton gloves, dust with a hair dryer, and observe these no-nos:
- No copper cleaner.
- No paper towels.
- No outdoor, steamy bathroom or over-the-stove display.

To clean artwork you will need:
- 100% cotton facial cleaning pads,
- isopropyl alcohol, preferably 91%,
- soft 100% cotton cloth.

Dampen pad with alcohol and rub over, copper. Dry immediately and thoroughly with a clean pad. Continue till pads come off clean. Buff with clean cotton cloth to remove loose fibers. You can use acetone, but dry thoroughly and follow immediately with alcohol as described above. Avoid cleaning painted areas. Use distilled water and dry thoroughly. Dust by blowing off with a hair dryer set on cool.
